Our North Star: Canadian Well-being

It’s never easy feeling left in the dark, even for a company that loves sleep. During these challenging times, our mission remains to provide Canadians with the best sleep possible, and that means doing it as safely as possible. We want to ensure all of our business practices work to slow the spread of coronavirus and COVID-19.

Our online store at Endy.com remains open. So far, there are no significant interruptions to our overall service, including the manufacturing of our Endy Mattress, which is made, warehoused, and delivered exclusively in Canada.

We’re committed to protecting the well-being of our staff, partners, and customers while continuing to deliver happy sleeps quickly from coast to coast. Here’s how: 

Endy HQ

Our office team and leadership are working from home, effective March 14. We’re excited by the challenge of remaining a strong, well-connected team despite distributing ourselves across Ontario and Quebec.

Fulfillment

Our warehouse teams are diligently sanitizing all common spaces and working areas daily, including the equipment they use to pull and pack Endy orders.

Delivery

Hand hygiene: All delivery vehicles are outfitted with hand sanitizer. These hand sanitizer pumps are refilled automatically when trucks are returned to the central hub. Specific procedures have been put in place, requiring drivers to sanitize their hands prior to and following each delivery and delivery attempt.

Truck hygiene: Delivery trucks used by our courier partners are being sanitized regularly with care, as often as 3-5 times per day.

Employee safety and protection: All drivers and operational employees who are feeling unwell are required to remain home from work until they have fully recovered, and adhere to Canadian health recommendations regarding quarantine and self-isolation. Impacted employees will receive compensation while on sick leave and are encouraged to take symptoms seriously.

Signature-free delivery: Our couriers do not require a signature on delivery. Your package will be left safely on your doorstep for you to collect at your convenience, provided it is safe to do so. If you select evening delivery, make sure you’re home on your scheduled delivery date for a safe hand-off with our delivery team.

Return logistics

Our pickup partners are practicing the same hand and truck hygiene practices as our shipping partners, and we’re educating customers about the best way to navigate the hand-off safely and responsibly.

With the well-being of our donation partners and after-market recipients of our products in mind, we’ve temporarily paused our donation program in some areas. Most donatable mattresses will be sealed and stored until we can re-home them with the assurance that they can be used safely. Some mattresses may be recycled to ensure we honour our 100 Night Trial terms in a timely manner, but we remain committed to our Social Mission. Cancelled orders will be returned to a secure location where they’ll be held for a period of several weeks before being redistributed to our warehouses.
